WHY DOES MY LAMP HOOD OVERHEAT OR MELT?




Excess heat caused by damaged mantle will result in a direct flame on the hood. This will overheat the hood resulting in over heat or melting of the hood. Refer to the Operating Instructions for the Lamp for correct use.
